Dear Montana Auctioneers Association Members,
Due to COVID-19 and Governor Bullock’s directive many restrictions have been put in place on the auction industry along with many other businesses.
The Board of Directors voted that it is in our memberships best interest to have auctions listed as essential and are encouraging membership to call your Montana State Representatives and advocate to make auctions listed as essential in the State of Montana.
Included in this packet are directions, a template letter, COVID-19 auction procedures manual, The State of Montana Phase One Re-opening FAQ, links for contact information for your State Representative. Please call and email your State Representatives before Friday May 22, 2020.
Be sure to read the Phase 1 reopening plan from the State of Montana DHHS referring to auctions on page 21 and to contact the County Health Officer in the County you plan to conduct an auction prior to the event.
